Carroll, Iowa, is a community of approximately 10,000 people which is located 19 miles from McLaughlin Family Companies’ headquarters in Scranton, Iowa.

Education has always been of the utmost importance to the Carroll Community. Carroll has two exceptional K-12 programs with Kuemper Catholic School System and the Carroll Community School District. These are complemented by the Des Moines Area Community College campus which provides 2 + 2 Bachelor degree programs in teaching and business technology in conjunction with the University of Northern Iowa and a four-year nursing degree associated with the University of Iowa. This gives students a diversified opportunity in academics, arts and athletics.
