Booneville, Mississippi is home to the second-largest of New Way Trucks’ four manufacturing facilities. It is a community of roughly 8,700 people and serves as the county seat of Prentiss County, Mississippi, and provides a strong workforce for area businesses. The town was incorporated in 1861 and is named after R.H. Boone, a relative of the famous Daniel Boone. Northeast Mississippi Community College is located in the heart of the city and brings a youthful feel to the small town as 6,000 students enroll each year.
Historic downtown Booneville is home to ornate buildings dating back to the early 1900’s. Enjoy southern cooking at family-owned restaurants and check out the town’s local boutiques.
