SCRANTON, IOWA – Nearly one month has passed since New Way launched its free eShowroom, an online marketplace for its waste-truck dealers, and it is already seeing many positive results. Hundreds of visitors nationwide have visited the site to browse the New Way demonstrator, work-ready and dealer-closeout vehicles. “Our dealers can now sell trucks faster and easier than ever before. They can also market them to a wider range of customers,” said Phil Allen, VP of sales and marketing. Visitors to New Way’s homepage can find a link to the eShowroom or simply type in NewWay.com/eShowroom.

New Way develops its full line of affordable refuse equipment from its headquarters in Scranton, Iowa, and ships vehicles around the world. The company began two overseas Joint Ventures nearly 12 years ago, becoming the first American waste-vehicle manufacturer to start production in China. Other dealers are located in Puerto Rico, Barbados and Egypt. Though New Way dealers serve every one of the 50 states as well as Canada, New Way employees hope the eShowroom can serve buyers across the globe and people who otherwise wouldn’t have seen the trucks. “The eShowroom is a way for people to find a large variety of New Way stock at discounted rates,” Allen said. “We’re working to help the site’s visitors have the most satisfying truck-buying experience possible.”
