The New Way Sidewinder, known for its dependability and durability, will be featured on a National Geographic Channel program this month. Some of the very best American companies were chosen to do battle with their prized products in the new television series Showdown of the Unbeatables, that premiered in April. On May 23rd, New Way will square off against Calzone Case, recognized worldwide as the industry leader in manufacturing protective cases known to be indestructible.

New Way’s video of their Cobra Magnum crushing a car went viral last year and since then, the entire line of New Way refuse trucks are being recognized by increasingly more consumers for their strength and smart construction. That includes the Showdown of the Unbeatables series, where television personalities Brian Unger and Zane Lamprey have aligned themselves with opposing companies that are readying for battle with some of the world’s strongest, fastest and most technologically advanced machines and contraptions. While the series explains the fascinating science behind the inventions, the program ultimately delivers an exciting head-to-head competition for viewers who are left guessing who will emerge victorious.

“It’s exciting that we have the opportunity to use this unique platform to showcase our products,” said Phil Allen, New Way Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Our entire team is proud that the program recognized our refuse trucks as best in class and we also just really enjoyed the overall production experience.”

The episode featuring New Way is set to air on Friday, May 23rd, at 9 p.m. EST. Check local listings for exact times.
